Peter Stemmet is an award-winning broadcaster and blogger. He is a sports presenter at Al Jazeera in Doha. In June 2009 he received the SAB Sports News Reporter of the Year Award and in 2015 he landed the SA Blog Awards Sports Blog of the Year accolade. Previously he enjoyed a successful radio broadcasting career.
In addition to television and radio, Stemmet is also an author. His first book How To Become A Sports Journalist is currently available on Amazon here. His other skills include hosting, programme directing or master of ceremonies, voice artist, part-time radio and television broadcasting lecturers and radio and television presenter training. He has also assisted various radio and television stations with improving their overall on-air product.
Outside of work, Stemmet is a born-again Christian and credits God for all his talents, abilities, and blessings.
